Open Framework for AI-Enhanced Mining
The Whive AI Framework provides open specifications for building intelligent applications on the Whive Protocol. The framework enables Agentic Mining—AI-enhanced tools that optimize CPU mining operations, energy efficiency, and network participation.
Framework Applications
AI-enhanced mining optimization. Community developers like Melanin build tools that monitor network conditions, optimize block templates, and adapt to energy availability.
DVFS (Dynamic Voltage/Frequency Scaling) profiles for solar and renewable energy integration. Scale mining intensity based on available power.
Open specifications for Yespower-optimized hardware. The community may pursue custom SoC designs combining CPU mining with AI inference capabilities. Reference: RISC-V cores with L2 cache optimization, open-source NPU integration.
Community Hardware Opportunity
The Whive community may explore purpose-built hardware for combined mining and AI workloads. Technical research suggests a heterogeneous SoC architecture could support:
- Mining Cluster: RISC-V cores with 2MB+ L2 cache for Yespower
- AI Cluster: Open-source NPU for agentic mining inference
- Power Management: Solar MPPT integration, 5-20W profiles
- Form Factors: SoM modules, SBC boards, USB devices
This is an open opportunity for community developers. The Whive Protocol provides the framework; implementation is community-driven. Interested parties may submit proposals via the WIP process.
